COMPUTERBLOOD, <c0mputerbl00d &/or Whalesink> is a Mars Hill–based multidisciplinary artist creating hybrid image systems through digital glitch animation, painting, drawing, sculpture, & photography. Lightly infected with grotesque humor, the work explores collisions between flesh & machine, the sacred leaking into the digital, & the unraveling of natural order. . His torment is your content, vices versus Vesuviases. To maintain levity & mediocre blood pressure readings, he has taken on a shitty comic for shitty people side project called, The Poorly Drawn Emperor. This is all very serious stuff so a comic is a necessary counterweight. I’d expect to see more of these “hybrid system images” being produced as he has discovered a new found love for heavy impasto oil works. Commissions are OPEN.
